The Catskill Division is a truly unique must-see experience. Known as the “River Run,” visitors can explore the scenic mountains while traveling alongside the Esopus Creek. Along with standard tours, the Catskill Division also offers Golden Hour, Beer and Pretzel and Midsummer’s night tours.
The pedal tours are eight miles in length and take 2.5 hours to complete. You are encouraged to bring snacks and drinks to enjoy during your trip and arrive 30 minutes prior to your tour. Catskills River Run
Pedal along the historic Ulster & Delaware Railroad and enjoy the beautiful woods. Guests can bring a snack and drink to enjoy at the creek-side turnaround. It is an 8-mile trip and is 2.5 hours long!

Beer & Pretzels
On Friday evenings in the summer and fall, Rail Explorers partners with Bread Alone and Woodstock Brewing for a wonderful experience. Served at the private picnic area on the Esopus Creek. Head back in the evening light with lanterns on your rail bike. It is an 8-mile trip and 2.5 hours long!
Midsummer’s Night Tour
Heading out at 10 p.m., guests can enjoy the River Run under the night sky. Bring a snack and star-gaze through the telescope, weather permitting of course! Offered on Saturday night only. It is an 8-mile trip and 2.5 hours long!
