Armory Square

Originally settled in 1804, this National Historic District is ow known for unique shopping, luxury dining and vibrant nightlife.

A small, vibrant neighborhood on the west side of Downtown Syracuse, Armory Square began as a busy commercial and industrial area. Today, Armory Square is the home of some of Syracuse’s favorite restaurants and bars, coffeehouses, and dozens of small shops selling everything from musical instruments to records to clothing.

Armory Square District’s businesses are housed within forty-six industrial and commercial buildings of both late-Victorian and modern architecture.
