The Warehouse Gallery, otherwise known as Point of Contact, Inc. (Punto de Contacto, Inc.), is a space for artistic inspiration and innovation in Syracuse, NY. This arts organization on Syracuse University’s campus allows for the exploration of ideas and diversity through verbal and visual arts. Additionally, the institution’s goal is to create inspired communities that will develop innovative artistic concepts to appeal to people globally.
Point of Contact is a tax-exempt organization that is located in Syracuse University’s Warehouse Building. The collections that are displayed within the gallery feature over 200 pieces . These pieces feature contemporary photographs, collages, videos, drawings and unique prints, especially emphasizing Latin American work.
In addition to the astonishing artwork, the Warehouse Gallery is also a collaborative space for students attending the School of the Arts and Sciences at Syracuse University. Most of the students that use this space are either art or fashion majors. As a result, parts of the building are used as classrooms for students to design and create their work. Additionally, the students work is put on display for the public can view via tours.
