Celebrate New York’s independent brewing scene at the New York State Craft Brewers Festival, a traveling festival series that brings together breweries from across the state.
What is the NYS Craft Brewers Festival?
Visitors can sample a wide variety of craft beers, meet brewery owners and representatives, discover new styles and learn about the people behind their favorite local brews. Select events also feature cider, spirits and other craft beverages, along with food vendors serving regional favorites.
What to expect at the NYS Craft Brewers Festival
Breweries from all areas of the state will be in attendance, highlighting the diversity in technique and flavor within New York State brewing. Of the nearly 50 attending, here’s a sneak peak:

Tickets for the Craft Brewers Festival
The festival is a 21-and-over event, and all attendees must present valid photo ID. General admission includes unlimited three-ounce beer samples and a souvenir tasting glass. Local food vendors sell additional food on-site.
At the Syracuse event, visitors can upgrade to VIP admission for an exclusive beer and barbecue pairing at Middle Ages Brewing before the festival, plus special glassware, VIP merchandise and access to select beers. Designated-driver tickets are also available, with access to nonalcoholic beverages and snacks.
For the Syracuse event, general admission is $60 plus tax, VIP admission is $104 plus tax and designated-driver admission is $15 plus tax. Online service fees may apply.
When is the Craft Brewers Festival?
The next festival takes place on Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the historic Landmark Theatre in downtown Syracuse. The VIP beer and barbecue pairing begins at 2:30 p.m. at Middle Ages Brewing.
