A 1,052-acre state park and estuary off the eastern shore of the Hudson River with 8 miles of trails, campsites and paddling.

Off the eastern shore of the Hudson River, Schodack Island State Park offers a family-friendly campground with 66 campsites, picnic tables, volleyball nets, eight miles of trails, biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, pavilions, showers, and a kayak/canoe launch site.

Schodack Island State Park is a designated State Estuary with a portion of the park sheltering a Bird Conservation Area home to bald eagles, cerulean warblers and blue herons. Following the Park’s trails will lead visitors through a variety of ecological communities. Schodack Island State Park offers outdoor activities and beautiful views that all ages can enjoy!
