Situated along the Niagara Gorge, ArtPark is a nonprofit park and cultural institution that creates an artistic experience for visitors. Since its establishment in 1974, ArtPark has been recognized as a summer outdoor music venue. Additionally, the venue was ranked amongst the top 100 Amphitheaters Worldwide by Pollstar. The mission of ArtPark is to provide a visitors with an educational, entertaining and interactive artistic experience.
Event Programming at the Park
ArtPark takes pride in their programming as 150+ events are held throughout the summer with 150,000+ visitors every year. Ninety of these events are family-oriented community events that are delivered at either low or no cost. With the success of the events, ArtPark contributes approximately an economic impact of $13 million yearly to its community.
Music and Theater at the Park
ArtPark is recognized for having the largest main stage in New York State. Currently, 104 fully staged musicals have been presented at the theater before audiences ranging from 10,000 to 40,000 people. Over the last 40 years, 2.5 million people have attended musical performances at the theater. World class performers and Broadway stars have also taken to this stage throughout time. The theater has hosted names such as the New York Philharmonic, Ringo Star, Bob Dylan, Ella Fitzgerald and Aretha Franklin.
