Tour the Adirondack Mountains like no other with Adirondack Railbike Adventures. Railbikes allow people of all ages and physical capacities to traverse remote areas of the Adirondack Park.

With departing trails from Old Forge and Tupper Lake, there are three different railbike paths for you to take. All trails last between 1.5 – 2 hours. In Old Forge take River Run or Timber Ridge. River Run is a 6-mile round trip along the scenic Moose River with moss-covered rock cuts decorating the path. Timber Ridge is a 7-mile round trip through the forest canopy of the Adirondacks along rails north of Thendara Station. The Raquette Rambler is a 7-mile round trip through the forest and along the Raquette River.

All railbikes are available from Memorial Day through mid-October

Railbikes are available for single riders, bikes for two, bikes for three, or bikes for four. All ages are accommodated on any of these trails but children under 2 years old need to be secured to an adult.

Tickets for railbikes depend on which railbike you purchase:

Single Rider: $35

Bike for Two: $90

Bike for Three: $130

Bike for four: $140
