Hotel Beginnings

Enjoy the luxurious and elegant atmosphere of the Adelphi Hotel. First opened in 1877, the Adelphi Hotel is a piece of Saratoga history that has been catering to vacationers and other visitors ever since. The hotel has become a landmark of sorts as it has seen prominent politicians and has been considered the hub of Saratoga society. In an effort to preserve its 19th century design, the hotel is ready to welcome visitors again after an expansion that is still underway. As the Adelphi is reborn to accommodate higher volumes of visitors, it still maintains its historical flair and look!

The hotel is also home to celebrations of events and gatherings whether for business or pleasure! With eight different venues, you are certain to find one that best suits your event. The Adelphi celebrates all kinds of events like weddings, off-premise catering and social and corporate events. Guest rooms and suites all come included with complimentary wi-fi and beverages along with a style and feel unlike any other that you can find. Suites are intricately decorated in accordance with their elegant atmosphere and nine different room types are available for booking, so there is sure to be something for everyone!

Visit one of the Adelphi Hotel’s award winning restaurants during your stay! With Morrissey’s Lounge and Bar, Salt and Char and sushi at the hotel, there is delicious and acclaimed food for all occasions. David Burke is the world-renowned and innovative chef who is one of the leading pioneers in American cooking today and serves as the culinary director at the Adelphi Hotel. While Morrissey’s provides local, sustainable ingredients that create contemporary meals, diners will experience a stunningly designed glass conservatory at this lounge and bar. Alternatively, Salt and Char is the Modern American Steakhouse that exceeds guest expectations and has been featured by celebrity chef Bobby Flay.

“Absolutely charming and beautiful! The Great Gatsby feel of this boutique hotel made it feel like you were stepping back in time. Rooms are gorgeous, spacious, clean & updated. Really can’t wait to go back.”
