Visit one of New York State’s most historic sites and attend Fort Ticonderoga’s Fourth of July weekend! Celebrate the Fourth of July at one of the locations that contributed to our liberty from the British. From Thursday, July 4 – Sunday, July 7, take part in various activities, highlighting the events that occurred at Fort Ticonderoga during the revolution. Join museum staff members and costumed interpreters as they take you through the events that happened at the fort in 1777.

Participating in the Weekend’s Events

Join in on the celebration by attending the many events that the Fort offers. Participate in the fight for freedom when the Northern Department of the Continental Army fought to keep Fort Ticonderoga from falling to British control.

Take guided tours of the historic gardens, observe canon demonstrations, and march to the music of the Fifes & Drums. You can even step aboard the recreated 1920s tour boat Carillon. Stay tuned for more details as the event gets closer.
