The Polar Express™ Train Ride is an immersive holiday experience aboard a real historic train operated by the Catskill Mountain Railroad. On board, guests are treated to hot chocolate and cookies, a reading of the The Polar Express book by Chris Van Allsburg, and a special visit from Santa Claus at the “North Pole”.
What to Expect on the Polar Express
Climb aboard at the Westbrook Lane Station in Kingston Plaza and get ready for an enchanting adventure. To kick off the immersive experience, conductors will punch your golden ticket in the same way as Tom Hanks’ Polar Express character. Next, hot chocolate and cookies are provided by dancing chefs! As you travel through picturesque winter scenery, you’ll enjoy caroling and other holiday entertainment. When Santa boards, a sleigh bell is handed out to every believing guest. This joyful journey will prove to be fun for the whole family!

Tickets typically sell out fast for this event. Seating is assigned. Tickets are $49 dollars for adults (13+) and $39 dollars for children (2-12).
