Troy Farmers Market

Spend your Saturday exploring the Troy Waterfront Farmers Market, a year-round destination in the heart of downtown Troy. The producer-only market features more than 100 local vendors offering fresh foods, handcrafted goods, and products made throughout the Capital Region.

From May through October, the market takes over Monument Square and the surrounding streets. Visitors can browse seasonal produce, baked goods, meats, cheeses, flowers, specialty foods, artisan crafts, and prepared meals. It is a great place to shop local, meet the people behind the products, and enjoy the energy of downtown Troy.

During the colder months, the market moves indoors to the Troy Atrium. From November through April, shoppers can enjoy the same welcoming atmosphere and wide selection of local products in a comfortable indoor setting.

    Take Amtrak to Troy Farmers Market

    Amtrak arrives at Albany-Rensselaer Station (ALB), located about 10 miles from downtown Troy. From the station, you can take a CDTA bus or rideshare to the Troy Waterfront Farmers Market in about 20 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in downtown Troy, the market is easy to explore on foot. Monument Square is surrounded by local shops, restaurants, and historic architecture, making it simple to spend the day without a car.
