The Silo

A 19th century train car and an old coal Silo make the perfect restaurant for sampling American classics and new concoctions.

A landmark restaurant inside a repurposed coal silo serves American classics and original creations. The Silo staple, the famous “Footlong Haystack”, a 12-inch hoagie loaded with rib-eye steak, mozzarella cheese, and toasted hash browns, was featured on the Travel Channel’s Man v. Food. For dessert, sample some of your favorite ice cream flavors at “the Caboose”, a 19th century train car with over 40 varieties of ice cream. The unique venue sits on the mighty Niagara River, adding a view to the meal.
