Situated along Schenectady’s Mohawk Harbour waterfront, Shaker & Vine is the Capital Region’s first ever self-serve wine bar and cocktail lounge. The bar’s wine dispensing feature allows for an interactive and customizable wine tasting experience. Guests can choose from a selection of over 70 wines from around the globe. The self-serve dispensers make it easy for you to sample a variety of wines before committing to a full glass. In addition to wine, Shaker & Vine also offers a wide array of craft cocktails as well as a selection of shareable boards, dips and more. With an expansive outdoor patio, this exciting wine bar is the perfect spot for an unforgettable night out on the harbor!
While it may seem daunting at first, using the innovative self-serve wine dispensers is easy. Start by opening a tab to get a wine card, then insert your card into the reader at a self-dispensing machine. After inserting your card, you can choose between 1, 3 and 5 ounce pours. To learn about the wines, the machine’s interactive touchscreens are there to help.
After selecting your pour, grab a seat overlooking the water on the bar’s outdoor patio, a stylish yet relaxing escape complete with palm trees and firepits. Pair your drink with a charcuterie board or cheese or chocolate fondue, ideal for both a fun date night or a lively group. With a menu that also includes tapas, flatbreads, sandwiches, sliders and even a one-of-a-kind Ravioli Flight, there’s something suited for everyone’s tastes. This, coupled with Shaker & Vine’s plethora of wine options, makes it the perfect location for gathering with friends and savoring the moment!
Be sure to make a reservation to ensure ideal seating arrangements for your party. The restaurant offers indoor booth, sofa and lounge seating as well as outdoor Pergola Fireside Dining Table and Gazebo Fire Pit options.
All tables have limited time seating. For a party of two, a time slot is 2 hours. For a party of three or more, a time slot is 3 hours. For ten or more people you are allotted 4 hours.
The kitchen closes at 9pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, 10pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Desserts are available until 10:30pm on Friday and Saturday.
The Shaker & Vine is a 21 and older establishment. Children of any age are not permitted. A physical valid ID is required to enter.
