Revolution Rail Co. will give you an experience like none other in the Adirondacks. While pedaling railcars, guests can explore a section of the Adirondacks that would never be seen otherwise. This 2 and ½ hour long tour will showcase the beautiful Adirondack forest canopy along the banks of the Hudson River, and so much more. Take a peek at wildlife, enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, and relax!
A perfect family outing, Revolution Rail Co. has no minimum age requirement, meaning that it is open to everyone including infants and toddlers who can be held on laps or in carriers. Children ages four and up can ride in their own seats. The pedaling is easy enough for all to enjoy, the trail taking a slight incline on the way there and a decline on the way back. The trail covers six miles of terrain, and while that may sound like a lot, you are going to wish you had more by the end. Enjoy a little bit of burn in those legs while you pedal your way through fun!
“I have been going to the Minerva/North Creek area for over 40 years and have never had an experience like this… peddling a rail bike through the Fall woods along the Hudson River on a spectacularly beautiful day was just what my soul needed!”
