For nearly 100 years, the Queensbury Hotel has been a landmark in Glens Falls. In 1916, the need for a hotel in the downtown area arose in order to serve not only as a community pillar but to accommodate the growing number of Adirondack tourists. By 1924, with the teamwork of the Chamber of Commerce, local businessmen and city officials, a plan was put into place to build the hotel.
After its construction, the hotel became a popular vacation spot and with this meant growth in the form of more guest rooms and meeting facilities.
Throughout its almost a century of operation, The Queensbury Hotel has seen celebrities from Bob Dylan to Jackie Robinson to Louis Armstrong have all stayed at the Queensbury at one point.
Today, the hotel has seen countless expansions and renovations to keep this historic building alive and by 2022 it was added to the New York State Historic Business Preservation Registry.

Serving up classic American pub fare, Fenimore’s is a gastro pub that presents lunch and dinner dishes daily. This spot is perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day with an emphasis on locally inspired dishes. Try one of their signature omelets or pancakes served with Pure New York maple syrup. For dinner try elevated favorites like the Macadamia Nut Crusted Halibut or Wagyu Burger. On sunny days, take your meal outside to Park 26’s outdoor patio. And, starting in November 2026, you can dine in their outdoor heated igloos during those cooler months.
