    Originally founded in 2014 in Port Perry, Ontario, Old Flame has since expanded with its newest location in Toronto’s Distillery District. As Canada’s most awarded craft lager brewery, Old Flame Brewing Company brings a passion for quality and tradition to Toronto. With a focus on crafting classic German-style lagers using time-honored techniques and the best ingredients, the brews at Old Flame are always memorable. The brewery’s newest location is a space for good company and great beer, with live music most days and a welcoming, community feel. Old Flame’s signature lagers and seasonal specials are sure to spice up your experience while exploring one the city’s most historic and culturally rich districts.

    What to Expect at Old Flame Brewing Company

    With a hodgepodge of cozy vintage couches and a laid-back, industrial vibe, Old Flame’s Distillery District location is brimming with character. The space effortlessly shifts from day-time, work-friendly spot to evening hangout location. Of course, it’s the beers that are the star of the show at Old Flame Brewing Company! The brewery’s signature lagers range from a Blonde Helles Lager, a light, easy-drinking brew with subtle bready aromas, to a Black Lager, an espresso-colored, malt-forward brew with delicious roasted flavors and aromas of dark chocolate, toffee and molasses. Other options on the beer list include a Red (Vienna lager), a Brunette (Munich Dunkel lager), a Hazy Blonde (Kellerbier lager) and more. Can’t decide where to start? The brewery offers flights with a sampling of four of their most popular beers. To complement its exceptional beverages, the brewery provides a few light bites including hot dogs, soft pretzels and mini donuts.

    Special Events and Additional Info

    Every Wednesday, Old Flame Brewing Company hosts trivia from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Open mic nights are hosted every Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m.
