Although the restaurant and bar is located in a former bank with 34 foot tall ceilings, the team at Milas has skillfully subdued the building’s imposing proportions by softening the space with hanging Spanish moss and other greenery. With the addition of low partition walls and minimalist lighting fixtures, the space manages to feel elegant yet cozy. The restaurant’s chic, sophisticated ambience makes it perfect for both a romantic evening or a formal get-together. Milas’ expansive menu includes a wide array of seafood options and foods inspired by Turkish, Greek, Yemeni, Egyptian, Persian and Moroccan cuisines, including Lamb Pide (Turkish flatbread), Lobster Pasta, Filet Dukkah “Au Poivre” and Moroccan Mussels. Pair your meal with a signature cocktail, such as the Tropical Tzatziki, a concoction of staple gin, ouzo, pineapple, lime, cucumber, greek yogurt, and dill.
