With cozy chairs placed strategically throughout, Gantry Plaza State Park offers its visitors a uniquely relaxing experience, while also providing plenty of recreational activities for both adults and their little ones. Recreational amenities include basketball courts for adults and kids; handball courts; a fishing pier with its own cleaning table; playgrounds, including the “Tot Lot Playground”; and, to cool off, a splash pad with a mist fountain. Though pets are welcome, they must be closely monitored. Dogs may only run freely in the two “dog runs,” but can accompany you on a leash in many other designated pathways and plazas.

Admission rates are particular to the park. Vehicle use fees at New York State Parks generally range from $6-$10 for day use, though you may be able to snag a free spot on the street near this particular park.
