The newly constructed Eataly Toronto offers 50,000 square feet of Italian food, guaranteed fresh products, live demonstrations, cooking classes and complimentary tastings.
With more than 35 locations throughout Italy and the world, this Italian restaurant chain and one-of-a-kind marketplace unites its customers under one common interest: food.
Eataly Toronto’s marketplace provides fresh groceries and Italian products, including but not limited to: pasta, rice, cooking oils, coffee and tea, and various sweets.
This particular Eataly location, just under two miles from the nearest Amtrak station, is also separated into a variety of different restaurants perfect for any occasion. It currently features La Piazza, for a gathering family and friends; La Pizza and La Pasta, which showcases Italy’s signature dishes; La Pescheria, for all things seafood; and Milano Trattoria, for standard Northern Italy dishes.
The eatery’s newest and weather-dependent addition, Il Patio di Eataly by Aperol, provides fresh Italian spritzes and summer-inspired appetizers, or aperitivo, for those sunny Toronto days. This outdoor dining option is open Sunday to Thursday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday to Saturday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Along with the marketplace and different Italian-inspired restaurants, Eataly Toronto also includes several bars and counters that offer gelato, deli items, bakery and cafe treats, and of course coffee!
The marketplace operates Sunday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The different restaurant and counter hours vary and reservations are highly encouraged.
“Gotta come check out this place if you love all things Italian! Their high quality food tasted so fresh, and every bite was delicious.”
