Voted a Best of Westchester 2017 Winner “Best New Restaurant” by Westchester Magazine, Cantina Lobos is a cool hangout for tacos and other classic Asian and Mexican fares, plus signature margaritas and beer. A lively spot any night of the week, Cantina Lobos is a great spot for dinner with family or friends. With a friendly-to-all menu, you’ll be craving every dish, from quesadillas to tacos and chicken tenders or the tender pulled pork. The best part; this simple yet inventive menu utilizes locally-sourced, sustainable ingredients, fusing the traditional flavors of Mexico with a modern, fresh twist. So, take a mental break South of the Border and pull up a barstool for a great beer selection, signature cocktails and an amazing meal.
The Vibe at Cantina Lobos
With modern rustic décor and high-top booths – a large illuminated sign greets you with a friendly “Hola” at the bar. From the bar to the benches and chairs, much of the restaurant’s interior is made from repurposed wood designed by New Rochelle’s Ottavio’s Woodworking. Cantina Lobos also installed a garage door, which opens during warm weather months.
The seating is a little different than most restaurants—but in a good way! Promoting a sense of community, the 60-seat dining room features two high-top communal island tables. On a busy night, guests may be seated next to strangers. Each table features a unique sugar skull, a traditional Mexican symbol, hand-painted by Pelham resident Mike Gracie of GRACIE Studio.
“Great Mexican place! We usually get tacos and they are so good we haven’t explored past that. Margaritas are fantastic too. But best part is Gluten Free designation and care by the chef to ensure allergies are recognized.”
