The iconic Anchor Bar, who started it all in 1964, is among one of the 13 stops along the trail. This stop in particular is a must-see for Buffalo wing lovers who enjoy a little piece of history. Amid the other delicious stops are Elmo’s Bar & Restaurant, Duff’s Famous Wings, Glen Park Tavern, Cole’s Restaurant, Lenox Grill, Gabriel’s Gate, Gene McCarthy’s / Old First Ward Brewing, Blackthorn Restaurant & Pub, Doc Sullivan’s, Bar Bill Tavern, Mammoser’s Tavern & Restaurant and Nine-Eleven Tavern. Each stop has its own repertoire of unique Buffalo style wings and a surplus of other flavorful dishes.

Many of the restaurants and bars offer a variety of Buffalo style entrees and appetizers that surpass your typical Buffalo wings. Some of these include Buffalo chicken sandwiches, salads and even seafood options.
