More to Do in Westchester
Westchester County is filled with pet-friendly things to do, and now that you can take your pet on Amtrak trains, traveling here has never been easier. Visit the dog-themed Coffee Labs Roaster in Tarrytown for a caffeine fix, or get ice cream in Rye at Longford’s. When events aren’t taking place, you can walk your dog around the grounds of Lyndhurst Mansion, giving them plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors with a beautiful backdrop. To take your dog off the leash, visit Gedney Park in Chappaqua, or on a leash at Croton Gorge. After taking on the great outdoors you can clean your pup at the Croton Pet Station.
Pet-friendly restaurants can be found at Harvest on Hudson in Hastings and Sweet Grass Grill and RiverMarket Bar & Kitchen in Tarrytown.
