Stay active in quarantine with the Walkway Over the Hudson’s Virtual Walkway One Mile Run! Regardless of your location, you can attend this one mile race from May 14 through June 14. Since this race is virtual, it can be completed in the time and location of your choice. Track your time and distance on your preferred device and visit walkway.org/virtualmile to submit your data to the leaderboard. Additionally, post picture of yourself using the hashtag #KeepUsRunning to encourage your family and friends to join in the fun.

Attending the Virtual Walkway One Mile

Everyone is invited to participate in this event hosted by the Friend’s of the Walkway. The $10 participation fee will support the Friend’s of the Walkway organization and financially enable them to host future events. In addition, all participants will be sent a Walkway One Mile patch to commemorate their completion of the race.

Although it may be virtual, this event is open to everyone wanting to race! Whether you live in the Hudson Valley Region or around the world, anyone can compete. With the weather warming up and people becoming more active in quarantine, virtually connect with others and go for a run.
