Saratoga Chowderfest 2025
Saratoga Chowderfest is a community favorite annual event with tons of chowder to try from restaurants around Saratoga.
What is Saratoga Chowderfest?
Chowderfest is one of Saratoga Springs’s most anticipated events, attracting visitors from around New York State to Downtown Saratoga. Attendees can sample 4 oz. of chowder from participating restaurants from around Saratoga for $2 each. Then, samplers can vote for their favorite chowder in various categories.
Beyond the chowder, certain participating restaurants will feature live music entertainment and family-friendly activities for everyone to join in on the fun!
Categories for voting are People’s Choice depending on the size of the operation. Last year, over 100,000 bowls of chowder were served and more than 40,000 people attended the event!
Participating Restaurants at Saratoga Chowderfest
Each year, 80+ restaurants bring their best chowder forward for the masses to sample and judge.
There’s still time to sign up to participate, fill out an application here and stay tuned for the official participant list.
Last year’s winning participants included Kindred, The Mill on Round Lake, Druthers Brewing Company, Clancy’s Tavern, Rhea , Bentley’s Tavern, Ribbon Cafe and West Ave Pizza.
When is Saratoga Chowderfest?
This chowder-sampling spectacular will take place on Saturday, February 8 2025 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Where is Saratoga Chowderfest?
Samples and family friendly activities will be scattered throughout downtown Saratoga including Saratoga Springs City Center and the Heritage Area Visitors Center.
