Maple Sugar Festival
Maple sugaring season occurs each year in March in New York State. Every year, the Genesee Country Village & Museum hosts this delicious event to celebrate the season. The annual festival takes place over a four-day period on two weekends. The first weekend is March 19-20 and the other is March 26-27. Ticket prices range from zero to $22 and can be purchased here. At the festival, visitors can hike the Maple History Trail and learn about the history of maple sugaring.
Enjoy a mouth-watering pancake breakfast on each day of the festival at 9, 10, 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. A combo festival and breakfast can be purchased for the 12 p.m. seating, making for the perfect brunch. Indulge in sweet, classic or cinnamon swirl pancakes, maple apple French Toast, maple banana baked oatmeal and savory options like pork sausage and maple bacon scrambled eggs.
