The Mainstage Concerts are held in the Arkell Pavillion, which has seating both under the pavilion and around it on the Arkell Lawn. Tickets are $35 in the pavilion, $10 on the lawn and $15 to view online.

Gallery Recitals at the Music Festival

In addition to Mainstage Concerts, the music festival hosts Gallery Recitals in the Southern Vermont Arts Center’s Yester House Gallery. These take place on Saturdays from 5 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. These performances feature solo or duo artists, including Ara Gregorian and Evelyne Brancart on July 24 and Peter Stumpf and Craig Sheppard on July 31. These events are free to attend.

There are two performances each Sunday, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. and from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Come and witness the next generation of musicians show their growing expertise. These events are free to attend.

Masterclasses at the Music Festival

See knowledgeable teachers work with young artists on pieces to improve their skills on the violin, viola, piano and cello. There are two opportunities to browse the galleries while listening to the music from the masterclass, on Saturday, July 24 and 31, beginning at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. These events are free to attend.
