In honor of the comedic legend, Lucille Ball, the National Comedy Center is hosting a major event Aug. 4 – 6. The Lucille Ball Comedy Festival is an exciting few days of stand-up comedy by iconic guests, an outdoor showing of classic Lucy, a Chautauqua Belle lunch cruise, show tunes, and visits to the Lucy Desi Museum. The entire event is the perfect getaway experience for anyone who loves iconic comedians or just someone who likes to laugh.

Each Day of the Festival

Though not considered festival days, activities will be held on Aug. 3rd, Wednesday, and Aug. 7th, Sunday. On Wednesday, you can experience a Stand-Up Showcase with famous comedians, and a free outdoor showing of classic Lucy content.

As the festival comes to a close, you can end your trip on Sunday with the Chautauqua Belle Cruise.

Aug. 4th, Thursday

Day one of the festival is a full day of nine separate events.

• 12 p.m. – Showtunes With Lucy: Tropicana Lunch
• 1 & 3:30 p.m. – Chautauqua Belle Historical Cruise
• 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. – Members Only Showcase: Treasures From the Archives
• 5 p.m. – The Music of Desi Arnaz: Tropicana Dinner
• 5:30 p.m. – Block Party With the Untouchables
• 7 p.m. – Margaret Cho
• 8:30 p.m. – Lucy Under the Stars
• 9:30 & 11:30 p.m. – Comedy Late Night

Aug. 5th, Friday

The second day of the festival has more than 10 experiences to enjoy.

• 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m. & 3:30 p.m. – Lucille Ball’s Hometown Tour
• 11 a.m. – Chautauqua Belle Lunch Cruise
• 12 p.m. – Classic Game Shows With Lucy: Tropicana Lunch
• 2:30 p.m. – Lucille Ball Trivia Contest
• 1 & 3:30 p.m. – Chautauqua Belle Historical Cruise
• 4:30 p.m. – The Lucy and Ethel Show
• 5 p.m. – Showtunes With Lucy: Tropicana Dinner
• 6 p.m. – Block Party With For the People
• 7 & 9:30 p.m. – Jeff Foxworthy: The Good Old Days
• 9:30 & 11:30 p.m. – Comedy Late Night

Aug. 6th, Saturday

The final day of the festival will also have numerous things to do throughout the day.
