Get into the holiday spirit this winter season with Schenectady’s annual Holiday Stockade Stroll. This walking tour through the Stockade District focuses both on the holiday season and the history of Schenectady.

Taking place the night of Dec. 14th from 6 – 9 p.m. this Stockade District stroll is a Schenectady holiday staple. Participating in the event involves a walking tour around the district. While on your stroll, you’ll be able to experience a magical night filled with holiday lights. The atmosphere is perfect for a date night or to get children excited for the upcoming holidays.

In addition to getting into the holiday spirit, guests will learn the variety of ways in which past generations have celebrated the holiday season. Alongside historical information, guests are encouraged to enjoy refreshments and the beautiful Festival of Trees. Tickets for the event cost $11 and afford you three hours of holiday fun. Aside from the educational experience that the event provides, the gorgeous scenery can’t be missed. The event is definitely a great way to get into the holiday spirit.
