Come celebrate Earth Day 2023 on April 16th in New York City’s Union Square. Join thousand of others in calling for climate action and environmental justice. The Earth Day Festival + Virtual Stage provides a space for the climate and environmental communities to connect with the public, meet, learn from one another, and bring new people into the movement. Show up for the environment this spring and learn what you can do in your own life to make a difference.
The annual in-person festival features dozens of environmental non-profits and climate campaigns like March for Science and Fridays for Future, interactive workshops, and speeches. There will also be kids’ activities, food, and drinks. This year, the festival will feature 30+ booths from organizations like Build a Better Planet, The Carbon Almanac Network, NYC Department of Environmental Protection, the Sane Energy Project, and Wind Support NYC. You can also tune in to the Earth Day Virtual Stage. In the past, the virtual stage has featured figures including Robert Downey Jr, Bill Nye, Former UN Climate Chief for the Paris Agreement Christiana Figueres, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, as well as climate scientists and other prominent environmental activists.

The festival will run from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Admission is free.
