This ongoing virtual science fair is the perfect way to keep children entertained while stuck at home. The Buffalo Museum of Science and Darling Environmental Education Center at Tifft Nature Preserve introduced this initiative to share engaging STEAM-based activities and experiments. Activities include conducting penny chemistry, creating a magnus effect glider, making a lava lamp, paper-making, building a thermometer, and so much more. There is something for everyone among the available science fair activities.  

All you have to do is open an activity and it tells you what materials you need and the procedure to follow. Make sure to read the explanation too! 

The best part? Each day that you share a photo or video of your project on the Museum or Tifft’s Facebook pages, you will be entered to win family four packs of general admission passes to the Museum. The grand prize winner will receive a VIP Birthday Party at the Museum of Tifft when it reopens.
