Bronx Zoo Holiday Lights

Transforming the zoo into a magical exhibition of holiday awe, the Holiday Lights at the Bronx Zoo creates magical wonder through immersive displays. Made up of 260 lanterns representing 70 plant and animal species, this experience hopes to connect guests with nature. Life-size lanterns of flora and fauna enchant guests; colored tunnels, illuminated arches, and lit trees accompany visitors as they walk through this alternate world. 

Four Animal Safaris

Three continents are represented in these electrifying safaris. Creatures that roam Africa are celebrated in an illuminated pathway while the animals of Asia glitter in the dark. North American fauna are represented in enchanting lanterns with several new species of birds and mammals. The fauna of Latin America are enlivened in lights in their own safari, displaying creatures of the Amazon Rainforest. Ocean life is lit up in an undersea journey of colorful coral and flamboyant fish beneath blue waters.

Forest of Color

Emphasizing the color found in the smallest of creatures on Earth, the Forest of Color reflects natural diversity. Featuring larger-than-life lanterns of bugs, toads, moths and turtles, this exposition displays the beauty that can be found in the smallest things. Snails, butterflies, frogs and more translate the natural colors of these tiny animals into outstanding sculptures. All while guests journey through this forest, they’ll be able to share and learn ideas on how to help protect these animals.
