K104’s Cupcake Festival comes back to Beacon this Spring.

Do you have a sweet tooth? If so, the K104 Cupcake Festival is something you will not want to miss. The festival taking over Main Street in Beacon this year on Saturday, May 4. From 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., delicious cupcakes dressed up to impress will be lining the entire street. You can enjoy over 20,000 of the best cupcakes in the region from local bakeries and bakeries from all over the Hudson Valley. In the past, the sugar filled day has attracted 4,000 people to the event.
The festival will be holding their favorite event again, Cupcake Wars, once again this year. During this competition, vendors compete to have the best cupcake in the Hudson Valley. K104 will crown one lucky winner that will also gain a prize of $1,000.
If you want to take a break from the tasty treats, the festival offers far more entertainment. Main Street displays a variety of goods and services from local vendors such as chair massages, hot dog stands, homemade biscuits and different kinds of businesses/organizations. It also provides various family activities like inflatable slides, jumpy castles and kids crafts.
Admission into the festival is free. There are also several free parking locations, from street parking as well as several lots throughout town.
