Canadian Grand Prix
This summer, come and see how the city of Montréal comes to life for the biggest sporting event in all of Canada: the Formula 1 Grand Prix. This 3-day event of competition, class, and charm comes to the city from Friday, June 16 to Sunday, June 18 and will take place on the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. Race enthusiasts from all parts of the globe come together with the people of Montreal to experience not just the races, but an entire weekend of fun. To get the most out of your 72 hours, don’t forget to take advantage of the shopping, restaurants, and nightclubs available throughout the city.
The fastest racing cars in the world will hit the ground running on Friday for a series of practice sessions. The weekend will continue on Saturday with a series of Formula 1 qualifying sessions. Sunday will feature the main event: the 2023 Grand Prix Race from 2:00-4:00 p.m. The race will last for two hours or 70 laps around the track—whichever comes first. F1 teams featured in the races will be Aston Martin, Mercedes, and Ferrari, among many others. Don’t miss out on your chance to see some of the top Formula 1 drivers at the race: Fernando Alonso, Max Verstappen, and Charles Leclerc.

Osheaga Festival is coming back to celebrate music and arts this summer on St. Helen’s Island with three full days of concerts and art exhibitions.
Get ready for more music. Osheaga Festival is coming back to celebrate music and arts from August 4 to 6 this summer. The festival will take place at Parc Jean-Drapeau on Saint Helen’s Island, although there will be a week of concerts and art exhibitions throughout Montreal leading up to the event. The weekend will present renowned and emerging artists that are local and nationally discovered. The festival sets up six different outdoor stages to accommodate everyone’s music tastes.
Osheaga makes sure there is always something to do during your fun-filled weekend. Throughout the day, there are several photo booths and carnival rides to entertain. In between sets, the festival provides plenty of food vendors, from traditional poutine to vegan and vegetarian options.
Tickets are sold for both the entire weekend and single days. General admission weekend passes are $385 Canadian dollars. Also available are Gold Tickets for $5710 and Platinum Ticks for $1500. Single-day passes for general admission are $155, while the Gold Ticket is $290. All tickets can be bought on the festival website at Osheaga.com.
