BUFFALO

Located in Western New York on the outskirts of Niagara Falls is New York’s second-largest city, Buffalo. Home to its own two Amtrak stations, Buffalo-Depew Station (BUF) and Buffalo-Exchange Street Station (BFX), Buffalo, New York is easily accessible via Amtrak. The city is known for a multitude of attractions and events, from botanic gardens to Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres games. Renowned for its sporting events, Orchard Park, Sahlen Field and the Keybank Center are must-visit destinations for sports fans of all kinds. Art and architecture are plentiful around the city with sites like Frank Lloyd Wright’s Darwin D. Martin House and the historic Richardson Olmsted Campus, as well as the Albright-Knox Gallery. Sweeping views of the magnificent Lake Erie can be witnessed from Lasalle Park and Buffalo Harbor State Park, and hiking can be enjoyed on Buffalo’s portion of the Empire State Trail. Nearby Canalside is perfect for ice skating and ice biking in the winter, and events are plentiful in the warmer months.
