Known as “the little house with beer in it,” The Olde English Pub resides in a 1730s, historic Quackenbush House. From England to Albany with love, The Olde English Pub serves quality British beers, single malt scotches, wine and hand-crafted cocktails.

Food and Drink

Besides drinks, the pub serves up delicious, authentic English food. For lunch and dinner, indulge in the English-American hybrid specialties. Some of the lunch and dinner offerings include beef wellington, lamb chops, English Cobb, and duck confit and lemon pasta.

Because brunch originated in England in the late 19th century, it is only proper for the pub to offer a brunch menu. To view their delicious brunch offerings, visit here!

The Olde English Pub offers on and off-site catering for weddings, birthdays, holidays, and more!

“Incredibly friendly staff and the bar staff are always ready with a drink recommendation. Great selection of beer and ciders. Top shelf scotch and whiskeys. Its the closest pub in America I have ever seen to the real thing in the UK. Small but homey outdoor beer garden for those nice summer days.”
