Amtrak makes it easy to bring the whole crew by helping you save with each plus one. The more you bring, the more you save. Here’s how it works:
- Passenger 1 – full price (or lowest available fare)
- Groups of 2 – full price (or lowest available fare)
- Groups of 3 – 17% off all tickets
- Groups of 4 – 30% off all tickets
- Groups of 5 – 39% off all tickets
- Groups of 6 – 47% off all tickets
- Groups of 7 – 54% off all tickets
- Groups of 8 – 60% off all tickets
Up to 60% off tickets for eight passengers, gives you more to spend on hotels, cocktails, tours and activities. You can enjoy an exciting vacation with your favorite people by your side. Amtrak Share Fare Details
- Valid for up to eight (8) passengers traveling together on the same itinerary.
- The First and Second passengers will pay the full regular adult fare, Companion Two (2) will receive a 50% discount, Companion Three (3) will receive a 70% discount, and Companion Four (4) will receive a 75% discount Companion Five (5) will receive an 85% discount, Companion Six (6) will receive a 100% discount, and Companion Seven (7) will receive a 100% discount.
- Groups will receive the following cumulative discount off of the adult rail fare: Passenger One (1) and Groups of Two (2) will pay full price (or lowest available fare), Groups of Three (3) will receive 17% off all tickets, Groups of Four (4) will receive 30% off all tickets, Groups of Five (5) will receive 39% off all tickets, Groups of Six (6) will receive 47% off all tickets, Groups of Seven (7) will receive 54% off all tickets, and Groups of Eight (8) will receive 60% off all tickets
- Advance reservations have required a minimum of two (2) days prior to travel.
- Valid for travel on all services except Amtrak Hartford Line, Capitol Corridor, Hiawatha, Keystone Service, the Canadian section of the Maple Leaf, the Canadian section of the Adirondack, the Canadian section of the Cascades, Pacific Surfliner, Pennsylvanian, Valley Flyer, Vermonter and 7000-8999 Thruways.
- The companion(s) is subject to coach seats only; no upgrades are permitted.
- Not combinable with any other discount offer.
