Experience ziplines and exciting aerial challenges at this treetop ropes course located within Thacher State Park.
First opened in 2017, this adventure park promises to get you out of your comfort zone. At Wildplay, experience over 15 ziplines, 60 aerial games, and an exhilarating 40-foot jump. Whether you’re a seasoned thrill-seeker or a newbie ready to conquer your fear of heights, this ropes course is for you! With three different levels of obstacle courses: Classic, Extreme and Kids, Wildplay offers fun for the whole family!
At Wildplay, safety is the first priority. You’ll start your visit at the park with a training session on the ground to get comfortable with using the ziplines and belay system. Once you’re ready, you’ll choose your course and start your adventure! Get geared up to climb log ladders and cargo nets, walk across tightropes and wobbly bridges, and fly through the treetops using ziplines. The obstacle courses become more challenging the higher you get! In addition to the Kids course and the Extreme course, the Classic obstacle course offers 3 levels: Green, Blue and Red, ensuring that adventurers of all skill levels are in for a ton of fun!
For those seeking an adrenaline-rush, take the plunge with the 40ft “What’s to Fear (WTF) Jump”. Climb a rope ladder onto a platform where you’ll be securely tethered to a jump line. When you’re ready, leap off the platform into the air! The jump line ensures that you’ll land safely on the ground.
Most of the obstacle courses have a maximum weight limit of 300lbs and require participants to be at least 5 years old. The height minimum for the Kids course is 3’9” while the height minimum for all other courses is 4’8”. The “What’s to Fear Jump” requires participants to be a minimum of 44lbs and a maximum of 285lbs. Each course takes between 30 minutes and 2 hours, depending on your pace. Classic Course tickets start at $44.99. Kids Course tickets start at $24.99. Add-ons like the Extreme Course or the “What’s to Fear Jump” are $14.99.
