    What is Southern Junction?

Opened in 2023, Southern Junction’s unique BBQ fusion menu is inspired by owner Chef Ryan Fernandez’s roots in Kerala, India and upbringing in Texas. This eclectic blend of flavors combined with daily, fresh-smoked meats, makes for a mouth-watering dining experience.

The storefront of Southern Junction Barbecue features large windows reflecting the street, a neon sign, and a colorful BARBECUE sign above the entrance on this classic brick building.

What to Expect at Southern Junction

At Southern Junction, classic barbecue favorites like brisket and pork ribs are

accompanied by delicious Indian-inspired sides like basmati rice and cardamom cornbread. The menu also features other unconventional combinations, including a handheld Barbacurry Foldie.

Beyond the food, Southern Junction provides friendly, Texas-style service. Guests are invited to order their meats and sides from the counter before finding a seat in the restaurant’s dining room or heated outdoor patio, making for an effortlessly authentic experience.
