The art of distilling is at the heart of the Klocke Estate’s identity. The name “Klocke” comes from the Middle Dutch word for “clock,” alluding to the importance of time in the distilling process. As a working distillery dedicated to the meticulous art of distilling and aging, time is both honored and celebrated by the Klocke Estate, resulting in fine brandies, ciders and wines created from fruit grown and harvested in its own orchards.
Sit inside the Klocke Estate’s stunning dining room and take in the carefully chosen decor. From the earthy tones of the plush, velvet upholstery to the impressive, marbled bar, facing the vineyard, it’s obvious that designers spared no expense in bedazzling this restaurant.
The Klocke Estate’s menu is elevated, farm-to-table-inspired, American cuisine with a French influence, and it’s full of several meat and seafood dishes as well as vegetarian options. The New York Strip Steak Au Poivre and the Halibut are highlights as well as starters such as the Petrossian Royal Baika Caviar. Be sure to leave room for dessert—especially the Strawberry Rhubarb Tart and the Salted Caramel Pot De Crème. Klocke Estate offers the ability to reserve various parts of the property for private dining and events. The estate also offers tours of its distillery and vineyards as well as tastings.
Tours and tastings are available Wednesday through Sunday between noon and 8 pm.
