Nestled in the cozy town of Middlebury Vermont, Crooked Ladle Catering features an eclectic, farm-fresh menu, offering dinner service at its Main Street location as well as private event catering.
Originally founded in 2019 as a food truck and catering company, the Crooked Ladle put down roots with a permanent location in 2023. Husband-and-wife duo Loren and Jennifer Urban have used their more than fifteen years of restaurant industry experience to cultivate strong ties with local farms and food producers. It is these relationships that have colored the Crooked Ladle’s farm-fresh menu. Through innovative dishes and outstanding service, the team at Crooked Ladle are committed to delivering a truly memorable dining experience.

Crooked Ladle’s warm, cozy dining room situated in the center of town, will make you feel right at home. The restaurant’s menu fully utilizes all of Vermont’s agricultural bounty, showcasing seasonal produce and locally raised meats across many dishes. The menu features comfort food with a unique twist, from a hearty Vermont chevre gnocchi to a flavorful falafel gyro. Complete your evening out by pairing your farm-to-table feast with a craft cocktail.
