    What is Real Time Revolution?

Real Time Revolution is a living-history series at Fort Ticonderoga that re-creates the Revolutionary War as it unfolded on these grounds a quarter-millennium ago—not as a single-day affair, but as an ongoing conflict that played out across four critical years, from 1774 to 1777.

Fort Ticonderoga invites visitors to do more than remember — to truly understand what was sacrificed. As part of the America 250 commemoration and Fort Ticonderoga’s groundbreaking REAL TIME REVOLUTION®, visitors will step inside the Continental Army of May 1776 — experiencing their weapons, rations, music, and daily struggle — and witness firsthand what those soldiers believed they were fighting and dying for.

A group of people dressed in Revolutionary War-era soldier uniforms walk in a line outdoors under a tree, carrying muskets and wearing tricorn hats and period clothing, bringing REAL TIME REVOLUTION to life.
