This summer, come and see how the city of Montréal comes to life for the biggest sporting event in all of Canada: the Montréal Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix. This 3-day event of competition, class, and charm comes to the city from Friday, June 13 to Sunday, June 15, and will take place on the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. Race enthusiasts from all parts of the globe come together with the people of Montreal to experience not just the races, but an entire weekend of fun. To get the most out of your 72 hours, don’t forget to take advantage of the shopping, restaurants, and nightclubs available throughout the city.
The fastest racing cars in the world will hit the ground running on Friday for a series of practice sessions. The weekend will continue on Saturday with a series of Formula 1 qualifying sessions. Sunday will feature the main event: the 2024 Grand Prix Race from 2:00-4:00 p.m. The race will last for two hours or 70 laps around the track—whichever comes first. F1 teams featured in the races will be Aston Martin, Mercedes, and Ferrari, among many others.
