#Whiskey lovers in the Buffalo area unite at the inaugural #Buffalo Whiskey Fest on January 28.
Buffalo Whiskey Fest
The first-ever Buffalo Whiskey Fest will feature over 75 brands of whiskey available for tasting at the historic Lafayette Hotel
Current Status: Cancelled for 2020 and 2021
The inaugural Buffalo Whiskey Fest is the event of the year for those dedicated to the exploration of whiskey varieties and the development of whiskey products as both an art and a science. Hosted by Tommyrotter Distillery and StepOutBuffalo.com, the historic Lafayette Hotel located on 391 Washington Street in Buffalo, New York, will serve as a Mecca for both whiskey aficionados and those simply seeking to expand their palettes for spirits.
What to Expect at the Whiskey Festival
The first-time event will feature whiskeys from around the world and from around the United States. The list of brands to be tasted by Buffalo Whiskey Fest attendees is currently at 75 and still growing. In addition to having access to test the differences between ryes and bourbons on the first floor of the hotel, patrons with $35 general admission tickets will also be granted access to the Tomyrotter Distillery Manhattan Bar and the Four Roses Old Fashioned Bar. There will be an official “after party” at the Lucky Day Whiskey Bar, located on 320 Pearl Street in Buffalo.
Food from local Buffalo vendors and music supplied by a DJ will supplant the whiskey-tasting experience. A “special appearance” will be made by Giacobbi’s Cucina Citta, a rising Buffalo culinary operation from the former owner of the legendary Carmine’s restaurant, serving up both traditional family recipes alongside recent culinary innovations.
The festivities begin on Saturday, March 23rd, at 4:00 pm and end at 7:00 pm.
