From sightseeing cruises, special event cruises, private events, and group tours, Hudson River Cruises provides many perfect ways to celebrate an occasion or enjoy a ride along the Hudson River!

Sightseeing Cruises

What better way to experience the Hudson Valley than learning about its history on a cruise? Cruise goers will see historic lighthouses, waterfront mansions, and many other local landmarks. Sightseeing Cruises are available from May to October and depart daily at 2:30 p.m. From Friday to Sunday, an additional cruise is offered at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $32 for adults, $29 for seniors, $22 for children ages 4-12 and are free for children 3 and under.

On this two-hour tour, you will learn about historic landmarks such as:

  • Hudson River Lighthouses
  • The Wyndcliff Mansion
  • The “Dinsmore” Mansion
  • The Vanderbilt Mansion
  • The Col. Oliver Hazard Payne Mansion
  • The Rosemont
  • Staatsburg – Home of Ogden Mills
  • Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge
  • Esopus Meadows
  • Mt. St. Alphonsus seminary

There is also a Sunset Sightseeing Cruise perfect to take in the stunning views on a cool summer night. These 90-minute tours are $34 for adults and $24 for kids under 12.

The Craft Beer and Tasting Thirsty Thursday Sunset Cruise is for you, with a sampling of 4 specialty craft beers from Millhouse Brewery as well as a souvenir pint glass for you to keep. Enjoy live music or a good dance party? Select from a variety of tours including Music Sunset Tours, Tribute Band Cruises, DJ Dance Sunset Tours, and more. When planning your visit, be aware that some of these options are only available for those 21 and older.

Private Events and Group Tours

In addition to sightseeing and special event cruises, Hudson River Cruises can help you plan a private event! They specialize in weddings, birthday parties, bar and bat mitzvahs, graduation parties, corporate events and meetings, family reunions and more. 

Hudson River Cruises can also provide an educational experience for school groups. These hour and a half long trips teach kids about ecological, architectural, and historical facts while aboard the Rip van Winkle II.
