The Great Train Extravaganza returns to Albany’s Empire State Convention Center on December 1, 2019! Come to see hundreds of vendors selling old and new trains for sale, as well as train parts, clothing, and other accessories! You do not want to miss this fun event to click off the holiday season!

Different Expos at the Great Train Extravaganza

At the Great Train Extravaganza, take a look at the operating model railroads from all shapes and sizes, as well as the LEGO train models and circus train models. Also, bring the whole family to ride on the “Roaming Railroad” that goes around the whole Plaza Concourse.

In addition to the train displays, check out the “Taste NY Holiday Market” and “Holiday Tree and Fireworks Festival” right here the Train Show for holiday shopping and a festive tree lighting and fireworks festival!

Tickets for the Great Train Extravaganza

Experience this event for only $7 for adults and children 12 and under can enter for free when accompanied by an adult. To buy your tickets online and avoid long lines on the day of the event, click here!

If you are unable to buy tickets online, tickets will be sold at the door on the day of the event. Cash accepted only at the door. (There is an ATM at the Plaza Concourse if you do not have cash).
